Mary Louise "Lou" Erwin, or Lou as Charles liked to call her, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on March 21, 1930, she was the only beloved child of Henry and Louise Theide. At just two years old, she lost her father in a tragic railroad accident, an early hardship that shaped her resilience and strength.
