I am so sorry to miss Mary’s funeral.  My memories of Mary are beautiful ones.  Her warmth, kindness, compassion and empathy for others were always evident.  She was beloved by all and she meant so much to our radiation oncology patients.

I feel so fortunate to have  enjoyed Mary’s friendship and to have worked alongside her in Radiation Oncology for so many years.  I treasure the quilt she made for me upon my retirement.

Our beautiful Mary will truly be missed.

Wishing  family peace and comfort at this difficult time.

Lynne Dawson

There will be many shared memories of Mary posted here but I suspect they will all have a shared theme of her compassion and willingness to give of herself for the comfort of others.  I have known Mary for  over 25 years and we used to enjoy sharing so many things, our mutual love of handi-crafts, comparing notes and ideas on sewing, quilting, knitting, crochet. and of common things like gardening. We shared birthdays that were very close to each other and she would never let mine pass without sending a card or a cute text message.  There were beach trips and work gatherings. But mostly, she had a wonderful sense of sharing her love.  I will certainly miss her. God bless and keep you Mary, my dear friend.
Mary was a long time friend and colleague and Adventist Rad. Onc. We worked together over 25 years and she was very dedicated. Family came first with Mary, but always led with her heart and was a compassionate friend to coworkers and her patients. You could rely on her to show up for patients during winter ice/snow. She could be as stubborn as the day is long but also extremely patient with those we treated and staff needing a shoulder to lean on. We traveled together, attended theater lived our lives along side each other for many years. She will be greatly missed and I am grateful to have shared so many years working together.
