Mary Jo's obituary

Mary Jo Elizabeth Minick, aged 50, of Aurora, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2022 after a battle with cancer. Her loving family was by her side.

 Mary Jo was predeceased by her Father, Frank Lawdensky and her mother, Margaret (Wentland) Mikos. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Chris, sons Matthew and Joseph, daughter Kristin, sisters, Mary Ann (Lawdensky) Thede, Mary Cecilia (Lawdensky), Cotey and brothers Thomas Lawdensky, Paul Lawdensky, Francis Lawedensky, Joseph Lawden, David Lawdensky, Edward Lawdensky, and Charles Lawdensky.   

Mary Jo was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, sister, and teacher.  She was a loving mother to her children, always putting their needs and happiness before her own.  She touched the lives of the many schoolchildren with whom she interacted during her career with Oswego School District 308.

Mary Jo was active active in assisting with her children's activities and served several years as the parent manager for her children's hockey teams with the Admirals and Sabres Hockey Clubs.

No services will be held as Mary Jo requested.
