Mary Jo was one of those rare people whose kindness left a real imprint on everyone around her. She knew my dad years before I ever met her, and when I finally did, she welcomed me with the same warmth and sincerity she’d shown him. Every time she came into the shop, she brought a sense of calm and connection — the kind of presence that made you stop what you were doing and just enjoy the moment.
She asked about my family with genuine interest, and during some of the most difficult times in my life, her words were steady and comforting in a way I’ll always remember. Even though I haven’t seen her in recent years, she has remained someone I think of with deep appreciation.
My thoughts and prayers are with all who loved her as we honor her life and the kindness she shared so freely.
