Megan and Maureen: Anne-Marie told me about your Moms passing, and with all of my heart I am so sorry. :*( There is nothing more precious or special in the world than our Moms. :*( What patience she had with us when we were teenagers all holed up in her basement, how she humored us so completely lol!!!! Knowing what I know now as an adult, I look back at your Mom and realize what incredible resilience and strength she had that we had no way of understanding or appreciating at that age. She was incredibly strong then and it looks like nothing changed that direction since I knew her. I wish I could do more to help but please know how much my heart is with you both during this time of incredible loss. Megan- contact or distance will never change the place you will always hold in my heart!!! Keep an eye out for the signs that your Mom will give you both when you need them the very most that she is still with you and by your side- I promise that she will. Much love and comfort during this trying time and always!!!

So many stories to tell about my long time friend, Mary Halfpenny...who I met in High School at Notre Dame Academy in Villanova, PA, Class of 66.
So many laughs & shenanigans that made our years there, a blessed memory ..and much more fun that it might have been w/o her. As we grew up, we lived in diff states - sometimes different countries. That said, I will not stop missing her or the treasured moments of our laughs & just being together.
I have photos that I will share at another time.
All my best to her girls & all of her family.
