Mary's obituary

Mary Lee Ford was born February 7th, 1935 to Booker Gibert and Mary Anna Moore in Idabel, Oklahoma. She attended school in Idabel, graduating from Booker T. Washington High School. Later, Mary moved to Oklahoma City, OK, where she met her husband of 43 years: Luther Benjamin Ford

In 1970, Mary accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior. She was very faithful in church, traveling all over to preach the word ending in her becoming a Minister in his name, and being over the Sunday School and Women's Prison Ministry. Mary worked in the medical field for many years until her retirement in 1990. Rather though the word of GOD, her medical expertise or being a mother, grandmother, wife, and friend, Mary touched many people and lives.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her son James Gilbert, her sisters Samantha Johnson and Lucille Nolan. She leaves her husband Luther, her three daughters Lonetta Greenhoward, Melva Ford, and Laton Ford. Her nine sisters: Shirley Moore, Debra Giddeon, Virglie Lewis, Emma Shirt, Annie Barnett, Jean Thomas, Carrie Thomas, Jequetta Saxton, and Sheila Robinson. Her two brothers Phillip Parker and Anthony Moore. And Also, her nineteen grandkids, thirty-nine great-grandkids and many nieces, nephew, family, and relatives to cherish her memories.
