Dear Ray, Christian & Justin, we just found out that Mary Ellen had gone to be with the Lord. How ironic that we would find out today, on the 5th anniversary of her passing. We are so sorry that we are so late in our condolences to you, but please accept them. You know that we loved the both of you, Mary Ellen, and Ray, dearly, and missed you when you moved away. Please accept our most sincere sympathies on your loss. Mary Ellen always had a smile on her face, and a good thing to say about everybody. We can't imagine how you dearly miss her.

Ray,
I can't believe how busy I am in "retired" life... but God makes me think about people I haven't seen for a while. You came into my mind. Not a coincidence that it was around the anniversary of your wife's passing. I hope you are well and would love to see you. I think I will
contact Kathy Bossert and see if we can't get together and break bread. Are you up for that?

Mary Ellen was staying with her sister, Nancy when Nancy's husband. Bud, died. A man came to their door with a story that he and his wife had car trouble and he needed $20. Mary Ellen reached into her purse and gave him $40 only to find out later that it was a big scam. That was my girl!
