Mary Elizabeth Myers (née Blair), beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on September 20, 2023 in Lafayette, CO from complications due to a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing.

Mary is survived by her loving husband Karl, her six children: Paul (Lanelle), Brian, Michael (Sarah), Amy (Greg), Katherine, and Christopher (fiancé Kayla); her nine grandchildren: Emily, Natalie, Abigail, Daniel, Harper, Elodine, Connor, Owen and Ivan; her two sisters, Becki and Pam, and brother Steven.

Mary was born in Parsons, KS, on July 3, 1954. She lived in Kansas, Oklahoma, California, Texas, Germany, and finally Colorado, where she took great joy in the sunny weather that matched her personality. Here, with Karl, she raised 6 children and later became an adored and doting grandmother. To Mary, the most important things in life were her family, friends, and faith. Among the many activities she enjoyed were celebrating birthdays and holidays, making handmade crafts & cards, creating hot cocoa mixes, enjoying music and dancing and everything Christmas! Mary had the most beautiful smile, a great sense of humor, a positive attitude, an infectious laugh and a compassionate heart. She possessed a sincere spirit of giving, shared within her family, circle of friends, and to her community.

The family has established a non-profit called Mary’s Sunshine, dedicated to giving back to the community in her memory.
