Wendi was a great cousin with my memories of her visits to her Grandmother in Camrose and there was always time for a play time at our house …. it seems like so many years ago that we were in touch but the memories will always be in my heart .

Please accept my condolences  Mike, and family  .. it is always such a great loss when our loved one passes but the memories of them will last forever ..

Take care and Wendi will be remembered always

Pat Strocher.

As a much younger cousin of Wendi's, I so appreciated that she always took time to chat with me and show an interest in my happenings. She was a wonderful cousin and a wonderful person who will be greatly missed.

Dear Wendi. I have such great “big sister” memories. Like: singing “Sisters” at ages 11and 13 at a Sylvan Lake talent show accompanied by a 12 piece  dance band; enjoying the train trip from Jasper, Alberta to Prince Rupert, B.C. which you initiated and organized; being dragged, by Michael and Jack, from the Savannah Piano Bar where we were singing along with the vocalist who was honoring Johnny Mercer.  Wonderful times!   Your energy and positive spirit  MADE LIFE HAPPEN for yourself, family and friends.  Thank you for enriching my life.  Love you.  Goodbye and God Bless

While not unexpected due to Wendi’s health issues battle, her passing invokes deep sadness. To lose a sister of several decades brings with it reminiscences of happy, shared experiences that serve to enhance the life experience. And she WAS A SISTER! While distance naturally created many years of potential missed opportunities to share life’s experiences, she was always there for me if I “needed a sister”. And I do cherish the times that we had to visit and share both in Atlanta and Calgary. I will particularly cherish my last meeting with Wendi and Mike in Calgary a year ago. We enjoyed a few hours of “togetherness” at dinner and for me it was so memorable. I am so thankful that we were able to get together one last time. She was a good sister and I will cherish my memories of her forever.
