Mary Ellen Buis, 79, of Indianapolis, Indiana went to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Buis of Indianapolis, Indiana.
She is survived by her loving brother, Edward Wright, her sons, Larry Buis (Kristi) of Shelbyville, Indiana, Robert Buis (Christine), of Indianapolis, Indiana, and James "Jimmy" Buis (Tammy) of Shelbyville, Indiana, one daughter, Pamela Buis of Shelbyville, Indiana. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Matt Buis, Peyton Buis, Kimberly Buis, Brandon Buis, Amanda Buis, Erin Buis, Jimmy Buis, Allison Buis and Emily Buis and 20 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary Ellen loved all of her grandchildren and spent the majority of her time with them. She loved the beach in North Carolina and visiting with her brother.
A visitation will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:00pm at Fairland Christian Church, 109 Mulberry Street, Fairland, IN 46126. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 3:00pm.
