Mary Josephine Brongo, aged 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep August 2nd, 2021. She was predeceased by her husband, John, of 50 years. Survived by her children, Susan Mazzulo (Tony), Kristine Caroll (Martin), Margaret Vogel (Arthur) and Katherine Brongo. Mary has 14 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.

She was all about family, always had everyone over for dinner. If she wasn’t making homemade bread, sauce and pasta, she was crocheting, making blankets for new babies or even someone having a wedding. 

Mary would love for everyone to celebrate her life, instead of mourn it, and would ask for smiles instead of tears when we lay her to rest. 

 Viewing will take place Friday, August 6th, at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, Inc. Located at: 1411 Vintage Ln, Rochester, NY 14626. We welcome all family and friends between the hours of 1-4 in the afternoon, and 5-9 in the evening. 

 A private ceremony and burial will be held for the family on Saturday August 7th.

In lieu of flowers, please think about a donation to a local animal shelter, as Mary loved to rescue dogs and cats through her life.
