Finding this out was shocking.Mary and I drifted apart but our friendship was true, I am sorry we lost our way. She lived with us several times. spent Christmas  mornings with us. We laughed we cried, we fought. I know her love for Jesus and for her girls and Camo.  To be in the presence of Heavenly Father and her brothers, and her loved SIL Chris ❤ Till we meet again, Ms. Mary

I am heartbroken. I didn't know til just now. I loved her so much. She showed me how to live again. Clean. She always shined a light of hope for me in the darkest of places. I will pray for her family and friends. I'm so sorry for your loss.. much love.

I met Mary in rehab in 2004. We hated each other on day 1. By day 5 we were best friends. I loved her and will always hear her say " you got this Tinkerbell". What an amazing woman!!

Mary was the first to except me into the family at 13. She was always available for me throughout the years. She could be so supportive. I will miss her.

Mary felt like home inviting you in and making you comfortable! So loving yet tough! And that didn’t stop! She continued to focus on loving and helping people. Yet she could be like a little child when she was  excited about something! You literally felt her excitement. It was a huge blessing and so much joy the day I met Mary! Her loss is felt deeply.  I will never forget how she helped me and cared for me and things she said. I will always remember Mary and smile! It’s such a blessing to know she is with the Lord and we will be able to meet again! Well done my friend! You lived your purpose loving and helping people! I’m so glad your free! Love you dearly!

My heart is broken.

To the family of Mary Ellen Barker ( onf of the greatest sisters  in Christ I have had the privilege of knowing!) My thoughts and prayers are with each of you in this very sad time.

I am deep sorrow. And send my prayers and love to all Mary’s family. She was my “bestie” and it’s good to know she is no longer in pain and can now be with her2 brother and sister-in-law Chris
