Mary Leslie (Crounse) Ashmun passed away peacefully on December 1, 2019 surrounded by her sons Bruce and Mark. Born in Albany, NY on October 7, 1937, to Mary “Eleanor” (Voorhees) Crounse and Frederic “Marshall” Crounse, Mary was raised by Eleanor in Slingerlands, NY. She attended the Albany Academy for Girls graduating in 1956 and Hollins College in Virginia graduating after only 3 years in 1959. After college, Mary attended Katherine Gibbs School, a top secretarial …
