Mary Ann "Ting" Thomas gained her angel wings on April 11, 2023 at her home in Walterboro, SC. Mary Ann was 81 years old.

Mary Ann's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint She left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here.
Mary Ann was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. She was a master of all things culinary, an avid watcher of westerns. When Mary Ann wasn't working along side her mother cleaning homes, she could be found in the comforts of her childhood home, practicing painting, knitting or raising her grandchildren. 

Not a day went by where Mary Ann didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her -- her family was arguably her most important achievement in life.

Mary Ann is survived by her loving children, Anna Maria Thomas of Walerboro SC, Margie Anita Pizarro (Milton) of Summerville SC, Lakeisha Sherill Thomas of Raleigh NC. Two nephews who she raised as sons Henry Lee Thomas and Danny Lee of Walterboro SC. Her devoted brother Johnny Lee Thomas of Walterboro SC. Her grandchildren Candace Edwards, Robert Grant, Phylicia Thomas, Martinez Pizarro Jr, Mariano Pizarro, Alexis Pizarro, Sekai Thomas, and Madison Gaines. Two very special friends Ramona "Shugg" Bodison and Edna "Sissy" Walker. Mary Ann was predeceased in death by her parents, her sister Eula Mae Thomas Parker and nephew Johnnie Lee Thomas Jr.
