Marvin's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Marvin Carr, who departed this life on December 7, 2025. Born on January 5, 1967, Marvin lived a life marked by love, wisdom, and an enduring sense of compassion. A man with a vibrant and level-headed personality, he was a pillar of strength to his family and the community. His sometimes-stubborn nature was complemented by his profound sensitivity, creating a unique blend that made Marvin who he was.
Marvin leaves behind a legacy of generosity, kindness, and perseverance. His greatest accomplishment, providing for a wife and a family of four, will forever be remembered. He taught us the importance of loving one another, a lesson that will remain embedded in our hearts. A beloved father, he is survived by his daughters, Janae and Cynthia Carr, and his sons, Isaiah and Micaiah Carr, as well as the mother of his children, Angela Carr. He also leaves behind his siblings, Barbara Carr, Michael Carr, Steven Carr, and Donna Smith.
Marvin was predeceased by his dear mother, Lillian Carr, whose love and lessons helped shape him into the wonderful man he became. He also joins his brothers Robert Carr and David Carr. Marvin will forever live in the memories and hearts of those who knew him. He touched lives in innumerable ways and his absence will be deeply felt by many.
