Marty's obituary
January 30. 2022 "THE WORLD WENT DARK" Martin Samuel Gabriel Tucker age 42 1/2 was on IN-HOME hospice with Jefferson Abington Health Hospice. They helped with loving and gentle care of him and they were very supportive of our beloved, Marty and was supportive for me and my husband, Ted. It is with the deepest and saddest heart that I share that Martin Samuel Gabriel Tucker has passed away peacefully at home. He was the heart, love, light and joy of his mothers life. Marty was a sunrise and many rainbows of love, life and joy and brought joy, happiness and light to all those around him. Marty lost his long battle with Parkinson's disease. Marty was a true hero. He was very loved by his mom and dad, Ted. (Ted was a good father to Marty in every sense of the words father and Dad. Our Marty loved his dad, Ted dearly and considered him his dad and loved him very much. Marty is survived by his beloved, mother, and dad, Ted, brother, John and nephew Jimmy. He is also survived by his grandmom Dee. He haves a biological only by birth and in name only father,. He haves two half brothers and half sister by his biological father and in name only, Marty Sr. He is survived by his loving Aunt Teresa and another distant Aunt named Lisa that he hadn't had seen in years. Marty loved his African Grey parrot. When Marty was able to talk. He would sit and teach his Sammy bird words and sentences and funny phrases. Marty was a joy to be with. When he was well years ago. He volunteered at St. John Newman nursing home as well as Nazareth Hospital. He also volunteered at Maternity B.V.M. Catholic Church several summers at their carnival for charity. Marty was a true and giving person.
Marty would light up the room with his joy and smile. No one is a greater hero than Martin (Marty) Tucker. He will be truly missed. He glided into heaven at St. Peters gate in a chariot flying high through the clouds to glory being held in angels wings. He walks the streets of heaven beautifully adorned. He is no longer suffering. He is whole.
Martin Samuel Tucker was our hero. His endurance and strength and memories will live forever in our hearts. Marty had a good strong Christian faith. Marty was Roman Catholic. We love you, our dearest Marty. Until we meet again.
Marty donated his body and organs to the Humanity Gift Registry which is donating his body to science in order to help others. A truly altruistic gift. Marty was the heart and very soul of our family. We also would like to thank the Jefferson Abington In Home Hospice team for their care and support for our Marty and our family. Please consider donating to the Jefferson Health Hospice. The link is in this memorial website for our very special, unique and loving Marty. Gone but NEVER forgotten.
