Martin David Friedman, 85, passed away on May 28, 2020 in Boynton Beach, FL. A graduate in art history from Brooklyn College, he began his professional life as a cartoonist, creating parodies for multiple comedy magazines of the late 1950s. He found his career in advertising, first as an art director, later as a copywriter, working for various agencies, including as a Vice-President at J. Walter Thompson.
