Martin's obituary

Martin “Marty” Christopher Bona

March 13, 1960 – October 30, 2025

Martin “Marty” Christopher Bona, age 65, of Williamston, Michigan, passed away on October 30, 2025.

Born and raised in Farmington, Marty was a devoted father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend. He played football, baseball and wrestled in his youth, loved hunting and sports, and was known for his humor, kindness, and big heart. Marty lived life to the fullest and was always there for those who needed him — he was the heart of the Bona family and turned every gathering into a party.

He is survived by his sons, Matt and CJ Bona; grandchildren, Booker and Henrik; mother, Shirley; siblings, Denny, Tina, and Andrea; and his loving partner, Kim. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Mass will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Farmington, Michigan. A celebration of life will follow at Bakers of Milford from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Marty’s warmth, laughter, and love will be forever remembered.
