How you can help
The Barbara Davis Center for Children and Adult Diabetes is part of the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical center and is supported by the Children's Diabetes Foundation. This center was important to Sue in helping her navigate this disease when she was diagnosed with it in 2015. The center provides state-of the-art care to children and adults with type 1 diabetes and teaches patients how to prevent or delay complications. Their research is devoted to finding prevention, cure, and most effective treatment of diabetes and associated disorders.

Obituary
Martha "Sue" Young, 56, of Boulder, CO, passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2024 from the complications of Type 1 Diabetes.
This beautiful, lovely, intelligent and vibrant soul loved swimming, snowboarding, skiing, yoga, cycling and dancing. We will miss her greatly.
Sue met and married the love of her life David Lee Klencke Young who preceded her in death. She is survived by her beloved son, Trent, whom she cherished with her whole heart.
