Background

Mama grew up on a small farm with her mother, father and sister. With her being the oldest, she had to help out on the farm instead of having fun with her friends like most teens.

In 1967 she and my father married. Soon after, my father was drafted into the Army and served 2 tours in Vietnam. Before he was deployed, they decided to have a baby. In 1969, while dad was in Vietnam, she and the new born was diagnosed with Tuberculosis and had to be separated and quarantined.

In 1985, Mama had to have back surgery. Surgeries were not as advanced In the 80's as they are now. It was more exploratory. Well, the surgery failed. In 1987, she had to have another back surgery to try and correct the first procedure. After this, she wasn't able to work anymore.

In the early 2000's, she began showing signs of early dementia. It was said to be brought on by the pain and stress she had endured. Because it was diagnosed early, we were able to treat it, but all the medicine that she had to take because of her back, depression, anxiety, and dementia, caused major stomach issues.

Through all the years, my dad, my brother, Ashley, and I took care of her, but on December 1st 2017, my dad passed away of an Aorta Anurism. After his passing, mama's health depleted and so did their bank account and mine as well.

On July 20th, 2020, after being admitted to the hospital because of pain in her stomach area, Mama was diagnosed with stage 4 Anno Sarcoma. Cancer was found in both intestines and stomach.

We recently found that when dad passed away she lost her life insurance. With the years of health problems, and current conditions, she has accumulated outrageous medical bills.

Please help. Even the smallest amount will be much appreciated. Any money raised will help tremendously towards granting mama her wish to be laid to rest beside her sister, her mother and father, and recently deceased husband.
