Almost every day, a Marty photo pops up on my phone or a fond memory in my head. I miss her daily, her smiles, laughter, and love for all❤️❤️❤️

Marty, her brothers Tom and Rick, and their parents, Betty and Merlin played host to their Kansas cousin during the height of that summer's ragweed season.  Mom (Uncle Merl's younger sister) thought I'd suffer less if I could escape the worst of the hayfever season of her eldest.  From that teenage time, I recall listening to my cousins tell stories, play music, and dine and play games together.  Marty was always good-natured in passing along some of the teasing her brothers gave her - about what, I forget - but her smiles and laughter always lit up the room and blessed her kindred.    Missing my Marty-cousin.

I was blessed to meet Marty and Ken in Fall ‘10 on Semester at Sea. Marty was so gracious, and full of fun and life. I am so grateful for the times I shared with her, and will miss her deeply. This tragic loss of such a beautiful person, is devastating. Not for just me, but for all her SAS Fall ‘10  LLL family. Sending Love to everyone in her family. Connie Sween

Dr. Kurica,

I did your medical transcription. You were so kind. I have been where you are. Those marriage vows until death do us part are a great sign of ❤️ love and respect.  I'm already sending up prayers for you and your family. Marty was a grand lady. I'm sorry this happened  but God needed her in heaven.  Much 🙏 and love.
