Mrs. Barnard was the best English language teacher I ever had. I believe she was also my Homeroom teacher at one point( it’s been well over 40 years since High School). She had a lovely sense of humor but wasn’t afraid to correct us when appropriate.

I am so sorry I did not know this until today or I would have been at your mom's memorial service. She was a good friend, a fun person to be around, and we shared so many good times. How I wish now that I had stopped in more often to visit as I thought of her every time I passed your house. My heartfelt sympathy for you and your dad.
