Marshall's obituary

In Loving Memory of Marshall Beecher Salinas

November 22, 1958 - August 15, 2023

Marshall Beecher Salinas, a beloved figure in the lives of many, has passed away at the age of 64 after a courageous battle with cancer. Marshall's journey began on November 22, 1958, a day that marked the beginning of a life full of love, kindness, and cherished memories.

Marshall's educational journey led him to graduate from Comstock High School, setting the stage for a life filled with accomplishments and connections. A devoted son and brother, he was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Salinas, and his brother Enrique (Ricky) Salinas. But he leaves behind a legacy of love and unity that will forever bind his family together.

Marshall's spirit will forever be embraced by his surviving cousins: Sandra Hanson, Diana Franklin, her husband Tad Franklin, Sarah Peralta and her children, Jessica Supakhan and her husband Bak Supakhan and their children, Blake Franklin and his wife Teresa and their children, TJ Franklin and his wife Helen and their children, Melanie Moomaw and her husband Brandon and their children; and close friend of 40 years Mary Lynne Licata of Louisiana. These relationships, nurtured through years of shared experiences, will carry his memory forward with warmth and affection.

Known for his quick wit, Marshall had a way of lighting up any room with laughter. His kindness and compassion were palpable, touching the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. A true animal lover, he found solace and joy in the company of his furry friends. His devotion extended beyond the four-legged companions, encompassing his extended family whom he cherished deeply.

Marshall's journey took him through various corners of the United States, including his birthplace in Michigan, where he spent much of his life. He ventured to Arizona and Florida while finding his final home in Tennessee, embracing new experiences and leaving his mark wherever he went. A name with deep significance, he was lovingly named after his grandfather, Beecher Dipert, honoring a family legacy that he carried with pride.

His unyielding love for his mother, Phyllis Salinas, was evident through his care and dedication during her elderly years. Their bond was a testament to the enduring power of family ties. And let us not forget his faithful companion, Fang, a dog who was more than just a pet, but a beloved member of his life's journey.

Marshall Beecher Salinas' legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched, the memories he created, and the love he shared. He will forever be remembered as a witty, kind-hearted soul who exemplified the true essence of family and friendship. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the richness he brought to our lives and the enduring mark he leaves on our hearts.

Marshall's spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, dear Marshall. Your memory will forever be a beacon of light in our lives.
