Marsha's obituary
Marsha Lynn McLean (born September 11, 1947) passed away on January 30, 2023 in her home that she shared with her mother Marjorie Lovell in Midvale, Utah.
Born in Minot, North Dakotah to Clifton Zoonie McLean and Marjorie Lovell (McLean) was described as a bundle of light and joy to all who knew her and made a point to stay in touch with anyone from close friends and extended family members. Marsha was passionate about animals (primarily those needing adoption and rescue) and women's rights from a very young age and herself rescued many would-be-forgotten animals over the years. Marsha attended Plentywood, MT High School and graduated in 1965 then went on to graduate from Brigham Young University with a degree in Russian Language and Human Services. Marsha became a mother to McLean Steadman in 1971 and went on to reside in Montana, Oregon, and Utah. She became a world traveler visiting such places as Turkey (2009), Russia (1969), Mexico (1989), and the United Kingdom & Scotland (1981), where she met Lady MacLean of Mull Castle. Marsha loved adventure and loved the mystery of archeology along her travels. She was fiercely well read and brilliant and had an affinity for creative writing and poetry. She was a lover of the fine arts and a designer, model, and collector of fashion. She loved music and dancing and was a forever fan of Neil Diamond. Marsha was acutely attuned to nature and our mother earth and walked a gentle life on this planet. Her beauty and strength was the awe of many.
Marsha was predeceased by her father Clifton Zoonie McLean and her first husband Frank Bruce Steadman. She leaves behind her son McLean Steadman, grandchildren Majorie Louise Steadman and Ramón Bruce Steadman, her brothers Michael McLean and Zoonie McLean, and her mother Marjorie Lovell.
