Marlene Ann Tourtellotte, a beloved resident of Lisbon, Connecticut, and Aiken, South Carolina, peacefully passed away on February 24th, 2024, at the age of 85, surrounded by her adoring daughters and granddaughters in Boynton Beach, Florida. Marlene was born to Grace Bromley Pasqualini and Angelo Gino Pasqualini, and she joins her husband, Irving Tourtellotte, her dear sister Susan, and her beloved dogs Nikita and Delilah in eternal rest.
Marlene leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be cherished by her surviving family members. She is survived by her daughters Lisa Giamboi, Shari D’Andria, and her son Mark Bourassa. Her grandchildren Paige D’Andria, Calli Grace, Zachary Scott, Alex Giamboi, Maxwell Giamboi, Noah Bourassa, and her great-granddaughter Mila Grace will continue to carry her spirit forward.
Marlene was not just a mother and grandmother; she was a beacon of unwavering love and kindness. Her dedication to her family knew no bounds, and she poured her heart and soul into her children. A woman of many talents, Marlene delighted in baking rum cake for all of her friends and neighbors during the holidays, each year, without fail. Even when her grandchildren swapped the rum for water, Marlene's Rum Cakes remained a cherished tradition, a testament to her unwavering commitment to spreading joy and warmth to those around her.
Marlene's impact extended far beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Friends and loved ones fondly remember her impeccably clean home, her ever-present high heels, and her generous spirit that knew no bounds. Those who knew Marlene in Connecticut knew the joy she felt from her backyard picnics; not a single holiday passed without a massive barbecue with family close & far invited. Family and friends meant the world to her.
