Marlene's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Marlene Delva, a beacon of love and faith, on July 19, 2025. Leaving behind her devoted son Jamie Pinard, daughter Tisha Pinard,  her husband Lavourd St. Louise, her grandchildren,  her beautiful brothers,  sisters, nieces and nephews. She will be reuniting with her late son, Marc Pinard, and her parents Lucienne and Marc Delva in Heaven.  Born on November 30, 1946, Marlene lived a life full of devotion, joy, and steadfast reliability. Her infectious humor, kind-hearted nature, and steadfast faith made her a cherished figure to many.

Marlene was the embodiment of a true matriarch in her family. Her nurturing and caring nature extended beyond her immediate family, adopting numerous friends into her care, who she treated as her own children and grandchildren. For Marlene, once you became her friend, you were family.

As a devoted ER nurse, Marlene received numerous honors for her exemplary work. Her dedication went beyond her professional life. Marlene also led a Rosary Rally during the 2018 and 2021 Public Square Rosary Crusade, the largest Rosary network in our history. Her love for God and unwavering faith were evident in each of her actions. Marlene was a true testament of what it means to lead a life of faith, love, and devotion.

Marlene was a natural teacher, instilling in everyone she met the importance of love, faith, and family. She was always there for her loved ones, remembering birthdays, and never missing a baptism or communion. In Marlene's memory, let us continue to embody the lessons she shared with us.

We invite loved ones to join us in celebrating Marlene's life. The viewing will be held at Grace Funeral Chapels on July 31, 2025, at 5PM. The Funeral service will be held at Saint Bernard Catholic Church on August 2, 2025, at 10:30 AM. Finally, a burial service will take place at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery on August 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers,  we are accepting gifts to cover Marlene’s medical and funeral costs. Gifts can be given at https://everloved.com/life-of… . Or Zelle directly to Jamie Pinard at 9549097991
