Born on February 27, 1947, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Norma Jean and Fred Parker, Marla spent her early years surrounded by family and light. As a child, she was celebrated for her beauty and charm - voted most photogenic and winning awards that reflected her radiant spirit.
In the 1970s, Marla moved to Newton, where her life blossomed with purpose. There …
