Markus is my nephew.
He gave me a nickname “ auntie Annie”

So many memories of highlights of this bright light.

When he was younger he spent his summers out here on the farm in Blaine Lake. Spending Christmas holidays became a yearly tradition.

Markus love ❤️ for life shows with each turn as we walk around out here. He had some favourite places he’d like and one was to spend time with his uncle Dan on the farm. Driving the farm trucks and definitely getting them stuck.

He also loved his cousin Clearisha. Those two were just that “ those two “
They had there only language of connection that never changed no matter the distance.

This July we will share in some of those beautiful memories as we host a ash ceremony for Markus out here in Saskatchewan at the Doukhobor Dugout House National Historic site of Canada. July 17th at 11am
Markus loved his heritage and participate throughout his visits.
