Markeo Lee Anderson was tragically taken from his earthly home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 25, 2023, in Portsmouth, VA. He was born on May 10, 1974, in Portsmouth, VA to Lisa Martin and Bristo Anderson- Baker. Markeo graduated from I. C. Norcom High School in Portsmouth, VA. He is predeceased by his brother James Rodgers  and grandparents William and Ruby Baker. Markeo leaves to cherish fond memories of him; Mother Lisa Martin, Father Bristo Anderson- Baker, and Stepfather Darryl Williams; his Fiance’ Alexis Miller; One brother Michael A. Hill (Kelly); Sisters Nicki Green (Thomas) and Naomi Baker- Manley (Clyde); Ten Nieces, Trinace Crowder, Madisyn Anderson-Davis, Ashley Anderson- Baker, Erise Anderson-Baker, Asia Murphy, Tyra, Niya and Paris Moore, Ta’Naezh and Ketti Rodgers; and 4 Nephews Dae'mon Nicco, Dre and Dae'shaun Green. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Markeo affectionately known as “Mark” by many people who loved him unconditionally. He was a kind, gentle, humble young man that always had a warm, friendly engaging smile on his face. He enjoyed working in Chesapeake, Virginia where he considered his co-workers his extended “work family.” He loved his trade skill working in homes and businesses locally and afar. Markeo had family and friends that would call upon him to provide electrical assistance in their homes, churches and businesses (hooking up flat screen televisions, installing ceiling fans & light fixtures). He provided aid to Cavalier Manor Little League concession stand in the spring of 2022 by volunteering. He also volunteered for local shelter electrical malfunctions.  Markeo loved life to the fullest. He will be deeply missed, and our Family has lost a true jewel that we will treasure his memory forever in our heart!
