So sorry for the family's loss. Randy and I were more connected when he lived in the Noblesville, Indiana area. Over the last few years our contact was sparse and I am actually just today finding out about his passing. I am in shock but we only texted about once a year or so just to say hello and catch up with each other. What a big loss for this family. Randy was a heck of a guy and I always thought a lot of him. Peace be with family and friends.

I worked with Randy at Autobase from 2002 to 2004 And while that doesn't seem like a long time, Randy's passion for Autobase, programming and flying were a big part of my time with Autobase. I had the pleasure of working with him on a few different projects and even got to go up for a ride in his ultralight! Randy was a pure soul and heaven gained a good one.

I loved being around Randy. He always had a smile and enthusiasm for people and his current projects. His faith in God was contagious and splashed over on anyone who met him. Since his latest flight to Heaven, I can imagine that he very well might be planning with his “Uncle Dale” to be the pilot on an intergalactic trip of some kind in the Heavenlies. Randy is an amazing soul. My family and I moved next door to Randy and Sharon. They were the first people for us to meet and we instantly became best friends and added Randy and Sharon to our family. We had everything in common, pilots, computer programming, and more. Randy was the nicest and kindest person I have met. Always with a smile and trying to get you laugh. I always hear people say these things and never knew what it meant until I met Randy. My family will miss him dearly.
