Mark's obituary
Mark Henry Shaheen, age 37, of Laguna Hills, California, passed away on March 5, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.
He passed away in the hospital after facing complications with an infection in his lungs.
Born with cystic fibrosis, he navigated lifelong health challenges, but was blessed with a double lung transplant in 2024; a gift that brought him a renewed lease on life, of which he lived to the fullest.
Mark was born in Kirkuk, Iraq and raised in London, England. He moved to Los Angeles and later Orange County, where he built a life with his wife, Andrea Rallo. He received two Bachelor's degrees in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying at Anglia Ruskin University Chelmsford and worked as a construction cost consultant at Turner and Townsend.
He was known for his kindness, his sense of humor, his passion for cars, and his love of the beach and sunshine. His cherished dog, Pom Pom, was always by his side.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea, and his parents Henry and Dinah. He is now reunited with his sister Sarah in heaven.
He was reMARKable and he will forever be in our hearts.
