Mark's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark John Neumaier, a cherished father, grandfather, and friend. Born on November 4, 1951, Mark lived a life filled with devotion to his family, pride in his work, and love for the simple joys that made him feel at home.
A professional truck driver, Mark’s work ethic and dedication took him far and wide, but his heart was always with his family. He was a proud father to Andrea (Kirk), Valerie, and Brenda (David), and a beloved “Grandpa Mark” to his five granddaughters—Chloe, Hannah, Kaitlyn, Nora, and Penny—and his grandson, Max. Mark took pride in his work and his family, and he was known for his neat penmanship, a small reflection of the care he put into all he did.
Mark had an easy, genuine way with people and was known for striking up conversations with strangers wherever he went. Whether it was a friendly chat at the store or a story shared over a cup of coffee, he had a knack for connecting with others, leaving them with a smile.
He found joy in life’s simpler pleasures—an avid fan of the Brewers and a devoted follower of the Packers, with a Bloody Mary in hand on game days. Green Lake held a special place in his heart, where he spent countless days fishing, bird-watching, and soaking in the beauty of nature.
Mark’s legacy will live on through his family and in the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on November 2, 2024, from 5-8 PM at Menomonee Park, Camp Pow Wow Lodge, W220 N7884 Town Line Rd, Menomonee Falls, WI 53051.
