I first met Mark when we were about eight or nine year-olds whose parents enrolled us in dance classes at the Polish-American club on 22nd Street in Bayonne where we learned partner dances to polka and oberek music.

 In the '60's we'd go into the City to see bands perform like the Doors, Van Morrison, and Sha Na Na at the Filmore East.

Our friendship lasted over the years and distant miles, most recently getting together to reminisce over barley wine with mutual friends.
