Mark Lundquist passed away on April 14, 2025, at the age of 64 after a long battle with heart failure. While his heart may have had its struggles, it was big enough to fill a room with kindness, humor, and love.

Mark is survived by his three children, Luke, Jonathan, and Everett, as well as his cherished cats—Chipmunk, Lady Twin, and Fatcat—who may or may not know that any of us exist until their foodbowl is 5% empty.

A tinkerer by nature, Mark had a knack for finding joy in the simplest and quirkiest things--including unnecessarily complicated train structures. He had a deep appreciation for the art of bad movies, the kind that are so terrible that they actually fully circle around to being good again. A lifelong fan of sci-fi, Mark always found wonder in exploring what could be (and always had a book recommendation to share if you had a moment).

Mark was a self-proclaimed wallflower but managed to touch countless lives with his generosity and unassuming charm. He married his first and only love, remaining devoted and kind to a fault. His humor was subtle yet unforgettable, reflected in favorite phrases like, “I just work here” and “Peachy.” He also took great delight in cheekily replying “thank you” to declarations of love, a response that never failed to amuse (him).

He was a man who loved anime, his children, hoarding tools like a gremlin, and, of course, his vast collection of DVDs.

Mark will forever be remembered as a ridiculously strong man with a heart big enough for everyone he met, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, wit, and unmatched generosity.
