Mark's obituary

Mark LeBlanc, 68, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on October 9th, 2022. Mark was born on July 18th, 1954, to Thomas LeBlanc and Fannie Dorothy LeBlanc in Tacoma Washington, the youngest of three boys.

Mark served in the United States Air Force from 1972 until 1976. When he returned to the Shreveport – Bossier City area, he entered a career in HVAC repair until his retirement.

Mark loved the outdoors and to fish and hunt. In his later years, he continued to fish the banks of the Red River. He could often be found watching and feeding the neighborhood birds each day. He also had a passion for food and cooking, with an uncanny ability to make a great meal out of very little. He was quick to offer a helping hand, always wanting to help in any way he could.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents Thomas LeBlanc and Fannie Dorothy LeBlanc. He is survived by his son Auguste LeBlanc and his wife Beth LeBlanc, granddaughter Alice LeBlanc; his stepson Christian Walters and family; daughter Kelly Larkin and family; brother Jonathan (Chico) LeBlanc; brother Darell LeBlanc; and many other relatives and friends.

The family is forever grateful for all the prayers and helping hands during this time. A graveside memorial will be held at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery on October 28th, 2022, at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Woody’s Home for Veterans.
