Dear friends and family, It is with heavy hearts that I share the unexpected passing of my beloved son Mark on Tuesday, January 14. Mark was a vibrant, fun-loving soul with an enormous heart and an adventurous spirit. He embraced life to the fullest and brought creativity and passion to everything he did. Mark was an incredible father, son, and friend, who brought so much joy to everyone around him. He had a brilliant mind, but his true passion was his family. He was a kind-hearted person, who lived every moment for his daughter, Kenzy, who was the light of his life. In 2013, Mark’s inventive mind led him to create a unique paint touch-up product and launch his own business, My Paint LLC. His innovation earned him a patent, and his achievements were recognized in the Houston Chronicle business section in an article titled Brush with Success. As a young and inspiring entrepreneur, Mark didn’t just build a business—he used his experience to mentor others, giving talks around Houston to guide aspiring entrepreneurs on starting their own journeys. For the past decade, Mark’s product thrived on Amazon, and his entrepreneurial spirit didn’t stop there. Recently, he started Lacy Consulting Services, a business dedicated to helping others optimize their presence on Amazon. In just six months, Mark had built a thriving consulting business with a devoted list of clients who relied on his expertise. Mark’s energy, kindness, and creativity touched so many lives. We will forever miss his bright light and the joy he brought to our world. The family will hold a memorial service and reception in the Clear Lake City area, the date, time, and place still to be determined. I will post more details later.
