Mark Robert Henry, age 72, of New Brighton, MN died on May 13, 2025 after a lengthy hospitalization.

Mark was born in Albert Lea, MN on Monday, September 15, 1952. He graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1970. He attended the University of Minnesota before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force in 1973. Mark and Michele (Klingbeil) were married on December 29, 1973.

In 1980, Mark began his career as an Information Technology Specialist for the City of Minneapolis. He continued with the City of Minneapolis for 31 years.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Bev Henry, his grandparents Kermit and Violet Jensen and Phillip and Mabel Henry, as well as his parents-in-law Ray and Vi Klingbeil.

Mark is survived by his wife, Michele (Micky) Henry, his children Joe (Denise) Henry, Tracy (Deanna) Henry, Amy (Alex) Macpherson, and Katie Henry. He is survived by 10 grandchildren; Karina Everett, Nick Henry, Parker Henry, Nolan Henry, Clara Henry, Leah Macpherson, Colin Macpherson, Cora Macpherson, Emily Britton and Alex Britton.

Mark is survived by his siblings Marcia (Richard) Hoffman, Marlene (Roger) Bjortomt, Mike (Karen) Henry, and Mary (Todd) Wheeler. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces and brother and sisters-in-laws. Additionally, Mark is survived by best friends Bruce and Mary Jo Jensen.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 27th at 11:00am, visitation begins one hour before the service at 10:00am, and a luncheon will be served after the service at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1900 7th Street NW, New Brighton, MN 55112.
