Mark James Hamel was born in Clairmont NH.  He passed away very unexpectedly surrounded by his wife and close friends at home on February 15, 2023

Born in Clairmont NH and was adopted by Fred and Betty Hamel when he was 3 1/2 and was raised on their farm in ,Concord NH  As a child he helped take care of the farm and the animals. He really loved doing it.  He got an associates degree in nursing and worked at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital until he had an accidental while working and had to have several back surgeries and had to go on Disability.

In July 2013 he met the love of his life Cathy.  Mark had the most wonderful and giving heart. He loved his 2 dogs Rocky and Cowboy. 

Mark was proceeded by his dad Fred Hamel. He is survived by Cathy his wife of 10 years, his mom Betty Hamel, his three boys Scott, Tommy and Alex Hamel. His daughter in law Crystal Goodlett who has 4 children and his son in law Adam Duncan who has three children and his son in law Joseph Potash who is deseased had four grandchildren and one on the way and two nieces.  

Mark will be cremated and his service will be held at First Christian Fellowship Church.          110 Montana Avenue.                            Greenville, SC 29611
