Thank you for taking the time to visit Mark's memorial page. It's still hard to wrap my brain around the fact that he's gone. While I wanted a lot more time together, I am so grateful to have known that kind of love in my lifetime.

Thank you for all the cards, thoughtful gifts, donations, calls, texts flowers, and prayers. I am standing upright due only to a higher power. There's no shortcut through grief, so I am allowing myself to feel what I feel when I feel it and leaning into all of the support that I have been blessed with.

What this experience has taught me is to take nothing for granted. Love your people and let them know how you feel. Tomorrow is a gift, not a guarantee.

If you are fortunate to have known Mark, please know that he loved you. His capacity to love is awe-inspiring.
