Just talking music with him. We had great conversations. When I first met him, I was the metal guy at the radio station but we had wonderful chats nonetheless.

I met him when we worked together at WSMU, Umass Dartmouth's radio station.  Then when it changed to WUMD.  We just started chatting one night and got along great.  Before I started being able to fill in for different genres, I was just the heavy metal guy, but we got along no problem and had wonderful conversations.

To me, it doesn't matter what your background is or what music you enjoy, you can get along with others no problem.  People from two different worlds can be friends no problem.

I am truly sorry for the family's loss.  I worked with him at the radio station WSMU and then when it transitioned to WUMD.  He was a great guy and we had many interesting conversations.  We came from two different worlds musically, but still got along great.  He'll be missed eternally.  May he enjoy his well earned rest.
I worked with Mark for many years at the Worcester Science Center. I have so many memories of him -- quiet, thoughtful, creative.  I remember he called me one night around midnight, after I had left the Science Center, to tell me he was packed up and ready to leave himself.  We shared a lot of memories that night.  And I will never forget that he came to my mother's funeral mass, about a year after I had left the Science Center.  I was so comforted to see him there.  Thank you Mark for everything you gave to me.

So very sorry to hear of Cousin Mark's passing. I had been corresponding with him for over a year now on family history research. He shared so much of his knowledge with me about our Stamper ancestors; I will always be grateful. Whenever I visit Victoria Row on The Island, I will think of him.
Mark, I  am so sorry to hear of your passing. I remember fondly playing the flute beside you in the Norton Band. Rest in peace.
I am so sorry to see this fine man leave us.  Some people’s very lives are a gift to their family, friends and community.  As was Mark, a gift to us.
