Mark's obituary
Mark is survived by his Wife of 31 years Carol (South) Duffy, Brother Gavan Duffy, Sister Lynn (Duffy) Kasow, Sister In Law Annie Duffy. He was proceeded in death by his Father Earl G. Duffy, Mother Bernice (MacMaster) Duffy, Sister Joan Duffy, Brother Neil Duffy, and Sister In Law Lily H.M. Ling. He leaves behind Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Dear Friends.
Mark was born May 13, 1953 in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated high school at Kennedy High and attended the University of New Orleans. Mark moved many times during his life and career in the hotel industry, finally settling in Florida in 1993. He and his wife Carol have been residents of Ft. Myers, FL since 1998. Mark retired from Diamond Tours two and a half years ago after many successful years with the company.
Mark will forever be remembered for his incredible sense of humor, his love for family, and his love of dogs. Accomplished player of piano, keyboard , and guitar, he loved to entertain others with his wit, his stories and his musical talent.
Marks "Encore" will be held on Sunday, June 6th at The Florida Repertory Theatre located in downtown Ft. Myers at 2268 Bay Street in the Arcade. His Encore will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. Afterward, a gathering to celebrate Mark's life will be held at the Twisted Vine at 2214 Bay Street. Free parking is available in the lot across the street.
The Florida Repertory Theatre relies on donations and sponsors, so please, in lieu of flowers, a donation in Mark's name would be appreciated.
