Mark was born to David and Betty Dodge, a Notre Dame Professor and loving mother. Mark was a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served his country for 10 years, leaving the Navy at the rank of Chief. He then built a career as a Submicron Photolithography Engineer, starting at Canon, and then working for X-FAB for the past 8 years.

Mark had many hobbies and talents, most notably photography, cooking, and music.

Mark is survived by his wife, his mother, his four siblings, his four children, three stepchildren, eight grandchildren, and five nieces and nephews.

Mark was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and stepfather. He loved life and the people around him. He was well-known for his wonderful sense of humor and goofiness. His life experiences and introspection also made him a great source of wisdom and advice.

Mark will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew him.
