Mark Jeffrey Buckingham passed away on October 25, 2022 at his home in Vallejo, California.

“Jeff” was an accomplished musician, leaving an extensive record of written music and lyrics which he created over his lifetime. He performed with a number of musicians over the years and in different musical groups. He had a contract with a well-known record label. Jeff enjoyed listening to many different genres of music as well.

Jeff was spiritualist, an astrologer, and a good brother and a friend to many, and a good neighbor. Jeff enjoyed learning, sharing his knowledge with others and helping those in need. He worked many years as a union carpenter. He also worked in the retail building materials business after leaving the construction trade. He was president of the neighborhood association and was well liked and respected by his neighbors.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents Harry Smedley Jr. and Frances Alice (nee Sullivan) Buckingham; by his former wife Susan Victoria Neale Cotton Buckingham; and his youngest sister Amy Beth Buckingham Maher.

Jeff is survived by his two sons, Tristan Robin Buckingham of Redding CA and Katisse Adona Buckingham of Los Angeles CA, and his grandchildren Vianna and Trenton of Redding CA.

He is also survived by his eight brothers and one sister:

Harry S. III of Seattle WA; Francis S. of Aurora CO; Peter J. of Piscataway MD; Pamela A.; Joseph J. of Atlantic City NJ; Terence F. of St. Augustine FL; Thomas G. of Alexandria VA; Stephen F. of Meadowbrook PA; and Andrew R. of Bryans Road, MD.

And by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.

A family private memorial service will be held.
