Mark Carlton Berg passed away from Lung Cancer on August 13, 2021 in Skagit Valley Hospital, Mount Vernon, WA, with Marilyn Czapiewski, his life companion of 33 years, and his youngest son Guy by his side. He maintained his hard work ethic, tough exterior, fighting spirit and sense of humor to the very end. He told his doctors he liked his physical therapists because they made him work hard. A small service will be held on September 19, with immediate family members at the Peace Memorial Gardens cemetery where he will be memorialized near his parents and other Berg family members that preceded him.
