With profound sadness, we write to inform the passing of Markanthony Silvia a beloved husband, father, poppy and son on December 29, 2023.

Markanthony is survived by his loving wife Tammy Silvia, his two beautiful daughters Chana Glover and Delaney Silvia, his six grandchildren whom he loved dearly Lana, Esme, Aviel, Efraim, Micah and Fate, his devoted father Gordon Nemier, and his siblings Kelly Sidari, Michael Silvia and Christopher Silvia. He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Rose Marie Nemier, whose memory he upheld in the highest esteem.

Born on April 6, 1971, Markanthony’s life was a testament to love and determination. His spirited and silly personality brought joy to those who knew him. He was a man who cared deeply,  exuded kindness, and cared for the less fortunate, sometimes even giving the shirt on his back. He was especially passionate about recovery awareness, a cause close to his heart due to his own remarkable journey as a recovering addict. His resilience and strength were truly an inspiration to us all.

A self taught musician, he found solace and meaning in music therapy, playing the guitar, piano, and viola. He loved sharing his passion for music with others, believing in its power to heal. His love of music was one of the many lessons he left behind.

Markanthony Silvia will be dearly missed, but his legacy will live on through the lives of those he touched.

May his soul be received unto rest in the eternal by the merit of Messiah Yeshua, and may his memory forever be a blessing.
