Friends and loved ones,
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of a dear friend, a beautiful soul, loving mother, sister, daughter, and confidant who possessed a fierce spirit, a quick and hearty laugh, and an enveloping embrace. Maritza Torres touched the lives of everyone she met and if you ever heard her sing, saw her dance, or tasted her cooking, you knew her love.
If you ever crossed paths with this woman, you left knowing that she absolutely adored her three children and grandchildren.
We come to you today driven by an overwhelming response from the many communities who Maritza and her family's lives have touched, in order to facilitate a platform for accepting contributions for the express purpose of providing for her yet minor child’s, ongoing care, whereby a trust will be established with the proceeds.
The friends and family of Maritza are utilizing this platform to honor her memory by creating this fund with a monetary goal of $20,000. Any amount is appreciated and the family is greatful for anything you can contribute.
If you would like updates for the Celebration of Life for Maritza, we are still looking for a venue, but the date is set for November 27th. If you would like to be involved with the planning stages please contact the planning committee via text or telephone at (510) 697-4070 or via email at maritzatorresfamilytrust@gmail.com.
