I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful girl. I’m friends with Mikey’s teachers Vicki, Meg and Nicole and was lucky to meet him a few times during virtual learning. He melted my heart and my friends always spoke so highly of him. My heart breaks for you as you navigate through this unimaginable time. Sending sincere love and thoughts your way.

Your love and strong family bond inspires me. Although I never knew Marissa, I was incredibly blessed to see her sweet sister Mia everyday of 2nd grade. Mia often spoke of Marissa and she had such a tenderness toward Marissa. In general, Mia exuded a love and a pure joy that could only come from knowing that she was loved dearly. My life is richer from knowing and seeing the Wuerthele family.

I am so sorry to hear about Marissa's passing. I will always remember her as the sweet little girl that was loved by her teacher and her classmates.

Passing in your arms had to have been so comforting for Marissa, and you having the strength to be there in those moments is proof your family is in good hands. You are their rock.

Hi Mike, I’m so sorry. I remember when you did some consulting work at my office when your daughter was a baby and had recently been diagnosed. It sounds like the years since have been so hard for all. I wish you and your family the best in coping with your loss and hope the funds collected help with doing something that brings a bit of joy to your kids.
