Marissa and I met on an LGBT activist page. We became fast friends, who messaged each other tons! We were silent cheerleaders of one another. Being LGBT I frequently had mean people and Marissa was always there to stick up for me and try to change the persons thinking. I always knew she had my back. Life would happen and being states away our times would be out of sync. But I always knew we could catch back up even after long periods of time. She messaged me last week and we chatted all morning. I am grateful we had the conversation we did, I am also very sad to lose my longest known friend. I’m sending all good vibes, thoughts and prayers to you all.
