Mario's obituary
Mario was born in the city of Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico on February 18, 1935. He immigrated to the United States at the age of 16 and eventually settled in Monterey Park, California, where he resided for 58 years.
Mario had many roles throughout his life, but the role he valued the most was that of a husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family going to the beach, camping, attending parades, and exploring new places. He loved his “boy Otis” (dog), enjoyed reading, attend baseball games, and show off his dance moves. Upon retiring, he fulfilled his dream of traveling with his wife to places like New York, Hawaii and many cities in Europe.
Mario will be forever remembered for his smile, kind eyes, caring heart, and unconditional love. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate his life and find comfort that he is in heaven watching over us.
