Mario's obituary

We deeply mourn the premature passing of our beloved Mario Lara, who left us on January 16, 2024. Born in 2003, Mario lived a life full of passion and enthusiasm. His departure is a heartrending loss for his entire family.

Mario is survived by his devoted parents, Casandra and Mark Lara, and his loving siblings: brothers Bobby Acuna Jr., Andrew Acuna, Joe Acuna, Marcos Lara, and Matthew Cordova and sisters Alexis Rodriguez, Victoria Cordova, Marissa Lara, and Jacqueline Lara. And his grandfather Albert lara He was predeceased by his cherished grandparents, Joe and Josefina Trujillo, and Virgina Lara.

Mario was a radiant soul who found joy in the simplicities of life. His favorite meals on his birthday would always be chicken, enchiladas, and strawberry cake accompanied by root beer or Monster energy drink. An avid reader of history biographies, Mario had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge.

Music was Mario's sanctuary, and he found pleasure in all its forms. He also enjoyed immersing himself in shows like American Dad and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. However, his artistic passion truly shone through in his art-filled room, brimming with his own striking paintings.

Mario was an ardent fan of the Minnesota Vikings. He reveled in the camaraderie and competitive spirit of playing games with his friends and family. He loved the comic genius of stand-up performances, but nothing compared to his love for spending time with his family and friends, expressing himself through painting, and shopping for clothes. Mario always looked forward to traveling, with Virginia deemed his favorite among the 25 states he visited.

Mario deeply cared for his family, particularly his nephews and nieces. His favorite color was as bold and vivid as his personality - red. He was generous, kind, and sweet, a handsome young man described as the perfect son. His legacy will forever be the warm, bright smile that could melt butter.

Mario's mother concludes: "Mario will forever be missed until the day we reunite in heaven,  I will always love you, my precious Mario, and miss you until the end of my days." Mario's memory and the love he left behind will forever be cherished by those who knew him.
